ॐ · About
A complete path for the sincere seeker.
ॐ · The Gap
Why Prema Dhvani exists.
If you have tried to learn mṛdaṅga seriously, you know the experience: a helpful video here, a generous teacher there, a few oral instructions in between. Yet no single place gathers everything into a coherent whole. You learn a bol but not its context. You learn a composition but not the tradition behind it. The path keeps stopping and restarting.
I spent years on that path myself. What I have built here is the resource I wished I had when I began: a structured, sequential system that takes a devotee from the very first stroke through to confident sevā, without gaps, without guesswork.
ॐ · The Student
For the serious, sincere seeker.
This platform is for the devotee who is not looking for shortcuts — who wants to be guided from beginning to end and understands that proper training is itself a form of offering. If you are here to go through the motions, there are faster routes elsewhere. If you are here to be genuinely transformed through practice and knowledge, you are in the right place.
ॐ · Paramparā
Paramparā Statement
“All of this teaching flows from one source: the paramparā. I am not presenting my own system. I am presenting what I have received — organised, clarified, and made accessible — so that it reaches you intact.”
My role is that of a servant of the transmission, not its author. The teaching belongs to the lineage. This platform is its vehicle.

Manaḥśikṣā dāsa Manfred Mong'are
Disciple in the paramparā of Śrīla Prabhupāda · Based in Vṛndāvana
I came to Kṛṣṇa consciousness as a university student and have been practising for over eight years. Four of those years I have spent in Vṛndāvana, serving in the 24-hour kīrtan department — an experience that shaped not just my playing, but my understanding of what devotional music is actually for.
Living in Vraja, visiting the āśramas of the Gosvāmīs, sitting in the kīrtans of senior Vaiṣṇavas — this is where the teaching on this platform comes from.
I teach because this is my sevā. Every student who gains clarity, confidence, or deeper connection to their practice through this platform is, for me, an offering at the lotus feet of the Lord.

You do not need to arrive with a specific question. Whether you are at the very beginning, somewhere in the middle, or simply looking for guidance on what to study next — reach out. Questions are welcome. Conversations are welcome. The door is open.
